School enrolment in Kenya: When it takes longer again
A short report by Michele Verdone (volunteer from Germany): On my second day at UPENDO Children’s Village in Kenya, Gloria’s school enrolment at the public high school was on the agenda.
The little ones also started
Our kindergarten children also started again. Patrick (4), Valerie (4), Angelina (3) and Mary (3) were very excited. They are in a new classroom this year and have new childcare.
Back to school at last!
After almost two months of holidays, school started again in Kenya and we celebrated the return with a back-to-school party. Cake and music created the right atmosphere. The picture shows
